Welcome, friend!
My name is Caitlin. I am the founder and designer behind Thirteen Seven Design. I’m a professional designer, follower of Jesus, and mama to my sweet little toddler, Isobel.
The name of our shop is inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:7 — “[Love] always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
In 2021, I became a mama — and it changed everything.
I had always wanted to be a mom. I had always identified as a Christian. I had always believed in the sanctity of life. However, seeing my daughter bouncing around on the ultrasound so early in my pregnancy solidified for me, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that human life begins in the womb. Clearly, she was so much more than a “clump of cells.” The precious little arms that I saw on that ultrasound are the same ones that sleepily wrap around my neck every morning.
A “nuanced” debate suddenly became crystal-clear to me: human life begins in the womb, and taking an innocent life is never permissible.
When the overturning of Roe v Wade took the national spotlight, I realized I could no longer stay silent. In spite of my wholehearted love of harmony and aversion to conflict, I took a chance and added a pro-life design to my Etsy shop — the floral womb graphic. It became an overnight sensation and continues to be one of the top-selling pro-life products on Etsy. I am so honored by the support, and touched to know that many women like myself are passionately fighting for the right to life.
