Vendor Biography
The Lord give you peace! As a little girl I eagerly watched the way my great grandma could transform a ball of yarn into a beautiful afghan or intricate sweater using a simple, little crochet hook. I longed to be able to imitate her by making similar items. As I learned how to crochet I realized over time that although I admired the beauty of her afghans and the usefulness of the sweaters that she created they were beyond both my skill level and attention span. It wasn’t until I discovered amigurumi, the Japanese art of crocheting (or knitting) small stuffed animals or creatures, that I found my niche. Each stuffed animal that I craft brings me joy and I hope that it not only delights you but also brings a smile to the face of whoever sees it.
