Some of the meanings associated with the sunflower are positivity, strength, admiration and loyalty.
Sunflowers follow the sun, keeping their face toward their life source. They always make me think of the hymn, Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus:
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full, in his wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of his glory and grace.”
A lovely flower for summer birthdays, or fall decor. This would look lovely as an addition to a gallery wall, nursery or as a large statement art piece.
