Tilt-a-Whirl Baby Blanket is a fun and easy knit. Knit flat, and using short rows for shaping, it knits up in no time! While using self-striping yarn will highlight the short rows, it would look equally as beautiful in a solid or variegated color. The edges of the blanket are finished with an I-cord that is knit at the same time as the blanket, giving a smooth and finished edge.

This has led her to design patterns that are interesting to knit but are also easy to memorize and “read”, in the case of one of those all-to-frequent interruptions.
Materials
Needles: US 6, straight or circular needles.
Yarn: Caron Cotton Cakes (60% Cotton/40% Acrylic, 100g, 211yds): 4-5 skeins (844 yards) (See Notes)
Tapestry Needle
Gauge: 18 sts to 4” in garter stitch. Gauge is not critical to this project.
Finished Size: 36” diameter.
