Polar Vortex Baby Blanket–Knitting Pattern

$4.99

Named in honor of the arctic blast that hit the Midwest several years ago, Polar Vortex Baby Blanket is sure to keep your little one warm. Knit in the round, from the center out, the increases create a spiral that is broken by a simple-to knit lace pattern. While the sample is knit with one strand of worsted weight yarn, this blanket can be knit in any yarn, and to any size.

Hi all! I’m Faith, and I love to knit! That hobby turned into a love of designing. My goal is to design patterns that are fun and easy to knit, even with all the distractions of life going on around you. So, grab a cup of your favorite beverage and have a look around. I’m so glad you stopped by.

More about Distracted Knits:
Faith Schmidt designs under the name DistractedKnits for a very good reason. With nine children, some grown and some still at home, there’s always something going on! This has led her to design patterns that are interesting to knit but are also easy to memorize and “read”, in the case of one of those all-to-frequent interruptions.
