A rustic combination of rich reds and hunter greens makes our knitted trivet a rich fall accent piece for your home. Strands of black add contrast to our warm Christmas palette – and the combination allows our upcycled t-shirt table runner to be a little log cabin, a little country, and very warm and homey.
We try to live by the old maxim, “Waste not, want not”. When we completed a t-shirt rug project there were still useable scraps I could not bear to throw out—my rag bag was overflowing at this point. The autumn-hued trivet in this listing is final product of many hours of labor and many, many different ideas!
With a finished size of 36 inches long by 12 inches wide (about 91 cm by 30 cm), our table runner can also function as a placemat, table topper, or decorative mat. The thickness of the t-shirts is ideal for protecting your table or kitchen countertops from heat or moisture while still providing a pleasing dash of color to your dining or work area.
Care instructions: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low, or air dry. Some shrinkage may occur.
