Hey y’all! I’m Candice and I’m honored that you’re here. Thanks to my mom, I’ve always had an immense love for everything natural and lovingly homemade. Growing up on a small family farm and embarking on my own homesteading adventures with my husband has allowed me to respect the land, plants, and animals all around us and how to love and use the gifts they provide. I’ve spent over 20 years in prehospital medicine and have a degree in public health. I’ve always been the weirdo that asked why and challenged “because science and the doctors say so”. Up until recently, I didn’t realize that was taboo. I just have a natural affinity for a more natural approach and preventative healthcare. I may have strayed from a non-toxic lifestyle as a young adult (hello scented lotions and candles!) but I have fully embraced that lifestyle again after infertility heightened my awareness of our toxic exposure. While I’m not perfect, I strive to keep my body and home as toxic free as possible. Understand that becoming healthy and toxin free is an intentional journey that takes time and knowledge. It’s the small steady changes that turn into a lifestyle. My personal journey included learning about the immense toxic load that impact our world and our bodies. In an effort to heal and detox, I looked at the products used on our bodies and in our homes and with the knowledge that these chemical rapidly enter our bodies, I knew I had to do better and use simple, heritage, natural, and holistic ingredients. This synergistic salve has capsaicin which is clinically proven and safe for topical pain relief as well as willow bark which is known as “nature’s aspirin”. It has been used for thousands of years (back when folks knew to use plants around them to remedy ailments) as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic. Ginger is also included to provide anti-inflammatory properties.
