Classic shades of black, red, and gold make our handknitted table runner both modern and elegant. The richness of the red and gold pop against the canvas of basic black, bringing a nature-inspired charm to our upcycled t-shirt table mat. A generous size, the runner is quite capable of holding a meal’s worth of serving dishes, or showcasing your favorite serving pieces for an afternoon tea.
We try to live by the old maxim, “Waste not, want not”. When we completed a t-shirt rug project there were still useable scraps I could not bear to throw out—my rag bag was overflowing at this point. The modern country style table runner in this listing is the final product of many hours of labor and many, many different ideas!
With a finished size of 12 inches wide by 36 inches long (30cm by 91cm), our table runner can also function as a table topper or decorative mat. The thickness of the t-shirts is ideal for protecting your table or buffet from heat or moisture while still providing a pleasing dash of color to your dining or serving area.
Care instructions: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle (front loading machines only), air dry. Some shrinkage may occur.
