A handmade crochet blanket inspired by painting the roses red in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
I’ve been crafting for over 16 years and love making beautiful, fun, and quality things that will be a splash of sunshine in my customers’ lives and keep them and their families smiling for many years to come. As an avid reader myself, I create collections inspired by books in order to provide fun accessories and blankets for my fellow lovers of reading! Stories impact and inspire us, so I want to help others express their love of the books that shape our lives.

My design for this handmade crochet blanket was inspired by the Painting the Roses Red scene in the classic story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Half the roses are white and half are red, with the middle rose being half and half since it’s being painted by the red tipped paintbrush. This blanket is small enough to be a unique baby blanket in a literary themed nursery, or it could be a quirky wall hanging and conversation piece in a home. However you choose to use it, it’s sure to bring a smile to your face as it reminds you of a favorite book!

All items in my shop are designed and handmade by me, Elizabeth Buckles, in my home in Virginia, in the USA. I do not take custom or personalized orders at this time. Everything you see in my shop is already made and waiting to be purchased by you. As stated in my shipping policy, I process and ship orders within 3-5 business days. Due to the handmade nature of my products, there may be slight variations in each piece, however, I strive to make each piece as much like the one you see in the photo as humanly possible. PLEASE READ the description of each listing, or the infographic within the listing’s photos to see an individual item’s specific measurements and details. Care instructions are included in the item details/description, and infographic of every knit or crochet item in my shop. These instructions will be included in the package sent to the customer when these items are purchased.
I craft and ship from Virginia in the United States. I process and ship orders within 3-5 business days. Shipping times will vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method. Orders within the US usually take around a week or less. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Once a package leaves my hands, I no longer have control over it. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs or other carrier delays.
If for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase, I accept returns within 30 days of the date of receipt of your item. If you wish to return your item due to a mistake on my part or you simply no longer want the item, Item MUST be returned in ORIGINAL, UNUSED, AND UNDAMAGED condition in order to receive a refund or replacement upon my receipt of the item. I am not responsible for damage caused by the buyer. If your item was damaged in-transit, please contact me with a photo of the damage and we will discuss your return/refund options. Because I am the sole owner, employee, and crafter of EruvandiCrafts, the replacement of an item may not always be possible if said item is not currently in stock or is a one-of-a-kind piece (the listing will state if it’s one-of-a-kind). However, the option of a refund is always available, and I will consider the possibility of an exchange for an in-stock item of equal or lesser value on a case-by-case basis.
