As a children’s librarian, I’ve studied early literacy and communicated with kindergarten teachers about what children should be learning in their preschool years. I’ve divided these ideas into seven categories, one for each day of the week, for an entire year:

These activities can improve your child’s school readiness skills, ease his/her school jitters, and create really fun bonding experiences.
