Designed for early learners, these number mats can be used in all sorts of ways! In our house, we use them for visual identification of numbers, counting and mirroring fingers, building numbers with kinetic sand or play-doh, using dry erase markers to learn to write numbers, pressing and counting dots, using loose parts to fill the dots, or even learning to spell out the number. You can even use these for an energetic tic-tac-toe jumping game or hopscotch. See tic-tac-toe game explanation below :)
This is a digital download, including the numbers 1-15, with original art.
To print: Open the PDF download, and in the “page size” portion of the print settings, select “fit” or “fit to page”, and simply print on standard 8.5×11 paper. I would recommend printing each number on its own separate sheet of paper so you do not have ink bleed through. I definitely recommend laminating them. You can double them up when you laminate them, however, so you have a front and back side. See product images for example!
How You Can Use This File: The intended use of my digital art file is for you to print on your home printer or at a local print shop. The file is for your own personal use, or to gift to someone else. Please do not exceed more than three prints without written consent from Ellie K Studio.
Due to variations in screens and printers, the printed artwork may appear different in print than on screen. The final print quality will depend on the paper used and the type of printer.

Tic-Tac-Toe Jumping Game:
Supplies:
Number Pages
Loose parts or dry erase marker
A cup with numbered pieces of paper to draw (with just the numbers you are using for your grid)
How to Play:
Lay each of the numbers out in a 3×3 grid. If your sheets are double sided, you can do even or odd numbers, or you can mix it up! Just make sure the pieces of paper in your drawing cup match.
Have your child stand on one side of the grid, and you stand on the other.
Draw a number from the cup and call it out (other variations: hold up a number on your fingers; if your child needs a challenge, you can incorporate an addition or subtraction equation for them to solve to get to the right number).
Your child will jump from their spot to the number you called out. You can use loose parts or a dry erase marker to mark the number they land on.
Their goal is to get three in a row (like tic-tac-toe!).

I am so glad you are here. I am Ellie, and this shop began as an inkling of an idea my final year of college, back in 2010/2011. It was not until 2021 though, that I first took the leap to begin selling the things I make. I started a small cleaning business in 2020, and began making my own cleaning products to use in the homes and businesses I served. Many of the families I cleaned for commented on the products I used, and so I began to sell them. Once I began selling one thing, that lead to the courage to let others see the other things I make, like my art. So here we are! Even if you don’t purchase anything here, I am so thankful you stopped by, and I would love to be in touch!
Most in stock items ship within 3-7 business days via USPS. We currently only ship within the contiguous 48 United States and to District of Columbia. All orders must be shipped to a valid, physical address. We do not support shipping to P.O. Boxes at this time. The shipping charge will be calculated and displayed during checkout, and will depend on the product and the shipping method. Please remember that processing and shipping times are separate.
