These 100% cotton soap savers are made from repurposed yarn that started out as a sweater. They are a great way to use every last bit of your bar soap. Either put a whole bar in, or wait and put some small soap pieces in together. The pouch acts like a washcloth and lathers up the soap with water.
The loop at the top fits into a gap on the opposite side to keep your soap in and allow the pouch to hang up between uses. Soap saver should be hung up to dry when not in use, just like you’d hang up a cotton washcloth.
Note that while these are gentler on skin than the sisal variety, they also don’t dry as quickly between uses.
Size, not including the loop: About 5 by 2 inches, or 13 by 5 centimeters. The pouch will be stretchy when wet.
Care: Machine wash and dry on warm settings. I recommend putting them in a delicates bag so the loop doesn’t catch on anything.
