Coin purse | Guatemala
This coin purse is made in Guatemala from a traditional mayan blouse called the huipil.
The word huipil comes from the Náhuatl word huipilli, meaning “my covering.” Worn as a decorated blouse, the huipil is sleeveless and box-like. Huipiles are found and worn mostly among indigenous people in Guatemala.
